Today we dropped off laundry, and visited the vassa – a 16th century warship which sank in fjord off Stockholm – 100m after leaving port. The ship was to narrow with not enough ballast. This ship took over 1000 men and trees and several years to build so not a great outcome…. However when they raised it in the 60s it gave us a preserved piece of history

We followed this by a trip to the Viking museum which was a fun museum with a little ride walking through the period of time where the scandavian countries went a Viking

On the walk between buildings R was feeling chilly so we stopped to sit in the sun so there is hope we won’t have to retire to the attic circle right there.
