So throughout the day every time we passed a bread shop or something holding bread Renee would pause, sniff the air and look around. As we all know - Renee loves to bake, she is a baker, she bakes things. This is not a surprise to anyone. If we pass a bread shop I remember to pause to regrab her attention so as not to lose her to the wiles of bread - and such questions as what do you think that type of bread that is? It is all rhetorical of course - just her and the bread having a conversation. My opinion is not required. Only the bread’s.

Last night Renee went out at 7pm saying I’m out to get us soda - and she came back with an uncut loaf of bread. We don’t discuss what happened to that loaf - it didn’t survive. No prisoners were taken. She brought me back an Ice cream so I saw nothing.
