This morning I chose to walk the Gatlinburg Trail from the Trail head to the Sugarland’s visitor center and back (2.0 miles roughly each way). The morning was still brisk and lots of people were in jackets but I was comfortable in a t-shirt, jeans and hiking boots. The trail is very child friendly and only has slight gradients – its an easy walk – it runs along a river which gives a nice melodious accompaniment of water over walks to your walk. There were quite a few dogs, and one couple with a professional photographer taking pictures of them.
